Mistaken Identity and Breaking the Cycle

The adversary has put up an astonishing fight to distort your perception of your identity in him. His aim is to divert your attention from what was achieved on the cross - the very reason you have the privilege to be recognized as a child of God. When we succumb to the devil's tactics, we fail to grasp this truth, and as a result, our true potential remains untapped.

 It's possible that you've noticed how certain negative behaviors and thought patterns in your life mirror those of your parents. Sometimes, these unhealthy or even ungodly family traditions and patterns are passed down from one generation to the next until someone decides to break the cycle and say, "No, not in Jesus' name!”
