Sunday Morning Service - Glorify the Son

Apr 20, 2025    Pastor Jason Kimberly

Prayer isn’t just a spiritual exercise—it’s a divine conversation, a lifeline that connects us to the heart of God. And in John 17, we find the ultimate example of what it means to pray with power, purpose, and passion. This chapter gives us a front-row seat to Jesus’ prayer just before His arrest—a prayer not just for Himself, but for His disciples, and for all who would believe in Him. That includes us!

In VIP – Very Important Prayers, we’ll explore the depth of Jesus’ words as He intercedes for unity, protection, sanctification, and eternal glory. This is no ordinary prayer—it’s the Son speaking to the Father about the ones He loves. It’s a glimpse into His heart, His mission, and His desires for His people.

If Jesus took the time to pray these words, they must be very important. And if we want to pray like Jesus, then we need to lean in, listen closely, and learn to align our prayers with His. Because when we pray like Jesus prayed, heaven moves, lives change, and we step into the fullness of God’s purpose for us.

Let’s dive in—because these are prayers we can’t afford to overlook.
